Deborah was born and raised in Bogota, Colombia and has lived in the U.S. since 1988. She has been married for over thirty years and has children and grandchildren.
For many years Deborah has used alternative medicine and acupuncture to treat her own medical issues. She understands from the inside the difficulties and frustrations of the Western medical approach – and that we don’t all fit into Western medicine’s “cookie cutter approach.” Deborah’s desire to become an Acupuncture Physician came from the positive experiences she had as an acupuncture patient.
