ACUPUNCTURE

Oriental Medicine is an ancient medical practice that combines acupuncture, herbal formulas, cupping, guasha, and moxibustion to help a person restore balance and wellbeing in the body, mind and spirit.

Acupuncture uses very thin needles to signal the body in order to access inner healing power. Acupuncture is transformative and powerful in restoring health and wellbeing.

AROMATHERAPY SESSION

The sense of smell is a direct connection to our mind/spirit. By taping into the sense of smell using aromatherapy we can create a personalized, in the moment, unique treatment to help your body find balance. Essential oils penetrate deeply into the body through the skin and have an immediate impact on well being.

CUPPING THERAPY

Cupping is a great way to immediately relieve tension at the muscle and mind/spirit level. This techniques helps the body rest and reset. Great way to relieve back pain, pain from injuries or from the stress and strain of travel.

KINESIOLOGY TESTING

Kinesiology Testing involves assessing muscle responses to various stimuli, providing insights into imbalances and stress in your body. It's a personalized approach to understanding and supporting your overall well-being. This technique helps identify the causes and possible solutions to allergies, food sensitivities, mood disorders and body aches and pains.

This technique is a three dimensional and experiential process through which we can seek answers to a question about yourself, your family, your ancestors, your business, your future, your present. We are plunging to the depths of our knowing, our family and collective consciousness and looking for answers and seeking resolutions. This work is an unearthing of what may be hidden and can now be brought to the light and thereby seen and worked with in order to create changes in the clients day to day life. I refer to it as plunging to the "tectonic plates" of our lives as individuals, families, tribes and nations in order to better understand our place in the world and the choices we have.

Due to the profound nature of this work, I am available to guide and assist should something come up for the client after the session. I usually end a constellation session with acupuncture to assist the process of assimilation and integration.

PRIVATE SOUND HEALING SESSIONS

The world was made through sound. Everything in existence vibrates because all atoms are in motion. Through the use of specially calibrated tuning forks and Tibetan bowls, we can use vibration to recalibrate you body and encourage healing.

*Diplomate of Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). *Master’s Degree in Oriental Medicine and Bachelor’s Degree in Health Sciences from the Atlantic Institute of Oriental Medicine *Bachelor of Arts from the University of Pennsylvania.

Deborah was born and raised in Bogota, Colombia and has lived in the U.S. since 1988. She has been married for over thirty years and has children and grandchildren.

For many years Deborah has used alternative medicine and acupuncture to treat her own medical issues. She understands from the inside the difficulties and frustrations of the Western medical approach – and that we don’t all fit into Western medicine’s “cookie cutter approach.” Deborah’s desire to become an Acupuncture Physician came from the positive experiences she had as an acupuncture patient.
